Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing RPG World, you agree to comply with these terms. This software is provided by Rebs Tech Studio "as is", without warranties of any kind.

2. User Conduct

RPG World is a space for creativity and fun. It is strictly prohibited:

• Publishing content that promotes hate, racism, or any form of discrimination.
• Harassing other players or masters.
• Using the system for spam or illegal activities.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of all stories and characters created. However, by using our platform, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to store and display this content solely for game operation.

4. Donations and "Buy me a coffee"

Financial contributions are voluntary donations to support development. They do not constitute the purchase of services, do not grant ownership rights over the software, and are non-refundable.

5. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for data loss, connection errors, or service interruptions. As the code is open source (GPLv3), you have the right to host your own instance if you wish for full control over your data.

6. Minimum Age and Child Protection

RPG World is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. We do not intentionally collect data from children under 13. If we become aware that a minor under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete such information and close the account.

7. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. We will notify users about significant changes through system notices or by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any dispute will be resolved in the jurisdiction of the city of São José dos Campos, SP, with express waiver of any other.

9. Game Content and Credits

The rules and spells shown in RPG World come from open sources, used under their licenses:

• This work includes material from the System Reference Document 5.1 ("SRD 5.1") and the System Reference Document 5.2 ("SRD 5.2") by Wizards of the Coast LLC. Both are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
• The structured data of the 2014 spells was obtained from the 5e SRD API, from the 5e-bits/5e-database project, under the MIT license. The 2024 spells were extracted from 5etools, only the entries that are part of the SRD 5.2.
• The Brazilian Portuguese spell translations come from the D&D 5e translation module for Foundry VTT by the Foundry VTT Brasil community (Cauã Pessoa and contributors), under the MIT license.
• RPG World is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast. Dungeons & Dragons and D&D are trademarks of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
